The wild rose is the provincial flower of the province of Alberta (Canada) and that is where I grew up. This dishcloth pattern is dedicated to my mother, Marcella Schwenk, for showing me both how to 'smell the roses' and to 'do the dishes' when I lived out in Alberta. Thanks Mom!

This is beautiful, but I'm afraid I never did master knitting. Being the anti-change personality I tend to be, I just stick to crocheting more than anything else.. some scrapbooking, and art journaling, or crafting now and then; but crocheting's been my biggest love, ever since I was a young girl! You DO remind me, however, that I could stand to whip up at least a couple new dishcloths myself, though!!.. Just not today! Wishing you and yours a very Happy Easter! I'm 47 and just started knitting. My mom has been knitting all her life (since childhood), and I finally just got the bug!
I have so many projects in my head I want to do, but I have to finish the scarf she has me knitting for her for practice, but then I saw your Rose Dishcloth, and it was perfect. We grew up in Alberta (north of Grande Prairie), and itching to start making these :-).
Just out of curiosity, can I make placements in the same design? would it be hard to adjust?
